LOVE OF GOD

1 John 4:9-11; John 17:23, 26; Romans 5:8-10;Eph 2:4-6

 

In this was Manifested the Love of God toward me, because God sent His only Begotten Son into the world, that I might Live through Him. Herein is Love, not that I love God, but that God Loves me, and sent His Son (Jesus) to be the Propitiation (sacrifice) for my sins. I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have Loved them as You have Loved Me. “But God demonstrates His own Love toward me, in that while I was a sinner, Christ died for me. But God, Who is rich in Mercy, because of His great Love with which He Loved me, even when I was dead in trespasses, Made me Alive together with Christ (by Grace I have been Saved), and He has Raised me up together, and has Made me to Sit together in the Heavenly Places in Christ Jesus. And I have declared to them Your Name, and will declare it, that the Love with which You Loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
