Surely Jesus has borne my grief and carried my sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. Jesus was wounded for my transgressions, He was bruised for my iniquities; the chastisement for my peace was upon Him, and by Jesus stripes I am healed. Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, having become a curse for me (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree), so that the blessings of Abraham may come upon me in Christ Jesus, that I may receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Jesus his own self bore my sins in His own body on the tree, that I, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: By Jesus stripes I am Healed. God satisfies my mouth with good things, so that my youth is renewed like the eagle's.
